Terrible photography as the light is going.
Took a new approach today and used a large piece of butchers paper (A3 + a bit) and vaguely scribbled this out until I got to the face detail. This poor dog has the longest beagle body every known to the breed, but I’m out of time today. Face looks a better length though. Foreground back leg should have been longer and forward. Nose not quite the right angle but better than first attempts. Easy to see when it’s uploaded, not so easy when drawing.
Dog drawing book has arrived from Amazon so maybe there’ll be some improvement now.
