I took myself to Cronulla for an afternoon. It’s a large coastal town very popular with both tourists and locals – in fact, everyone. People from around Sydney frequently go there by train for the day. I live around 20 minutes away (by car) and don’t visit as often as I should. With camera in hand, my intention was to wander without purpose, sit about, watch people, examine the buildings – essentially chill out and take in the scenery.
Concentrating on distance and perspective.
From the take-away kiosk to the best Cronulla seafood restaurant.
The beach medic is staying out of the sun in the first-aid room.
Limbering up before entering the surf. Luckily the lifeguard is on duty.
Great view for those who live overlooking the beach and all the blocks have direct promenade access.
Just a few of my photos. Now to make my selections for translating into print. I intend to pick four related beach front scenes to work with.
