Whilst out and about yesterday I was amused to see this sign outside our local Pub.
As it was only 10am I thought it a bit early to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!!
However, I took on board the brilliant advertising idea. As I am in charge of the advertising campaigns run by my husband’s company I’m always on the look out for clever promotions. This reached me on several levels: large enough to read easily, non-abrasive font colours and styles (not bright red and in-your-face), amusing and non-confrontational, the idea that they were offering something “For Me” – even if it’s not strictly true, and a general reminder about the venue – it does have good food, a drive-through for quick drink purchases and free live entertainment at the weekend. It also showed me that in some cases words can be just as important as images.
Maybe Philippe and I should pay it a visit one evening – together.
